SS 092 – Shift work, Firefighters, Fitness and Taste Buds
Episode 92 Show Notes
This week Grant and Heavey chat with listener Chad about his fitness. Chad is a 40 year old firefighter and father who is stuck in a strength plateau. He’s looking for a training program and lifestyle tweaks to maintain general fitness both for longevity and for his functions as a firefighter.
The boys dissect his current lifestyle and training to determine the best training program template, sleep hacks for his shift work and nutritional recommendations to keep him fine tuned without counting macros.
After coming up with a plan for Chad’s 4 pillars of health the gentlemen get serious discussing Chad’s palate- and how he can develop a taste for the nuances of various whiskeys.
